Raiding organic food stores. A sign of new times?

Police raided the Rawsome Foods organic grocery store with guns drawn in search of “raw-foods”. George Hemminger (George4Title) said the battle over organic foods is heating up because large agricultural businesses and corporations feel threatened by local co-ops and have hijacked the FDA and other government regulatory agencies.

Haha! This drama on the part of police to enforce corporate driven laws is doing more to promote the opposite of what the ag giants want to squash, that being our freedom to “share food and get back to natural, unprocessed food.” GREAT! I want to be free to drink raw milk without having to go underground to get it, (as I do now) because when I drink raw milk and eat no cheese, my arthritis completely goes away. I spoke with a county extention agent about this and he said it would be better to make raw milk legal, like in CA and some other states, because then there could be a system in place for regular testing. The more the government, in concert with corporate giants, tries to supress my freedom to eat as I choose, the more I will go out of my way to have a direct relationship with local farmers!!! Another example, Kombucha has been taken off the shelves here in VA. Some friends of mine did not hesitate to immediately start producing/ bootlegging Kombucha…just like when alcohol was prohibited. Prohibition doesn’t work…unless the goal is to help the little people make a lot of money! Fine, make it illegal, then a bunch of new outlaws get all the income! HAHA!!! This whole effort on the part of ag giants to supress our freedom results in deeper ties within the community, especially the direct tie between the producers and the consumers. It propels the food revolution! GREAT!

I’m watching the video now and am wondering since when do “security” cameras follow the incident as it happens? In most every other “security” video I’ve seen the camera is stationary and not moving and following. This camera moves and follows, to some extent.

While I believe that California is the land of fruits and nuts I don’t believe this video is real but staged.

Maybe if he had a business license or showed up in court.. oh, I forgot. He much rather would post threatening stuff on the internet.

    This wasn’t about organics.

It’s still legal to drink raw milk. These are just people who are too lazy to fill out a form. They were inciting this kind of thing.

Plenty of folks will sell you real, raw, wholesome milk. That’s not criminal.

I have been a police officer for six years and I am a fourth generation cop as well….all I can say is that 99% of local police officers in the US would pay very little attention to enforcing these stupid laws. The feds can’t even contain heroin and cocaine….think they can contain your corn and milk? No. Screw em.

Does this remind anyone else of world war two and what one individual (with is minions) did… That is what this bill S510 really means!

Jason, they can contain drug trafficking really well, because they get rid of their own competition. But when they’re the ones transporting it, they make sure the shipment gets delivered:
